Why one lamp
Studio notes, fictionalArclight Objects (in this fiction) is two people, one bench, and a deliberate refusal to have a catalog. The Model 01 is the lamp they wanted on their own desks: a spun-steel shade, a stem you can re-tension with one hex key, and a cord you pull because pulling a cord is still the best interface ever made for light.
Every unit is assembled to order, signed inside the base, and burned in for 48 hours before shipping. If a part fails in the first ten years, they send the part, not a ticket number.
This site demonstrates a single-object configurator: the object stays center stage, and every choice you make is reflected on it immediately - no thumbnails, no imagination required.
