It starts closed, and that is fine.
Every arrangement begins with a bloom that is not ready. We wait for it, and we tell you when to expect it.
Opening
Outer petals first.
Petals open in the order the flower grows them, tight at the heart and loose at the edge. We cut each stem at the moment that order is in full view.
Bloom
Then the whole thing at once.
At full open the flower stays for about three days. We deliver on day one so you get all three.

We work from a converted tile shop in Alfama. Every flower is bought from growers within two hours' drive, and we say which one on every card.
